Capacitive Touch screen is using ur finger/thumb to touch the screen which working on ipad or currently on tablet on era. now day technology which can make a capacotive support upto 10 touch sensor on the screen.

Resistive is technology in 1950 which use your finger nail or hard/sharp pen to touch the screen, feel hard and push when using it, of course there is good and well quality resistive like old day nokia phone.
